Main areas of our activity
The association is engaged in the development
of Azerbaijani-Ukrainian projects in the following areas:
Green (renewable) energy:
- construction of hydropower plants (HPP)
- pumped-storage power plant
- wind and solar power plants
Development of electricity transmission projects:
- construction of power transmission lines (TL)
- construction of electrical substations
Implementation of effective technologies in the field of energy storage:
- promotion of energy efficiency technologies and reduction of energy consumption without loss of comfort, productivity or quality of services
Attracting investments:
- attracting investments in the development of the energy sector of countries
Involvement in the restoration of Ukraine's energy sector:
- reconstruction, modernization and construction of new generation facilities
- development of decentralized energy
- implementation of restoration projects and ensuring the sustainability of the Unified Energy System of Ukraine
Support for Ukraine
In the context of the war caused by the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the energy system of Ukraine has suffered numerous blows.
The destruction of electricity generation, transmission and distribution facilities has created unprecedented challenges for both the state and citizens.
The Azerbaijan-Ukraine Energy Association is actively involved in efforts to restore and protect the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, performing both an organizational and coordination function.
Our actions
Attracting international assistance
Coordination of humanitarian, technical and financial assistance from Azerbaijani partners for the restoration of energy facilities/
Engineering and expert support
Exchange of experience between Ukrainian and Azerbaijani engineers, joint technical groups on damage analysis, design of new energy solutions taking into account modern safety and energy efficiency standards/
Project implementation
Development of technical solutions, execution of design documentation, supply of equipment and performance of construction and installation works with the participation of companies-members of Association.
Development and promotion of decentralized energy projects:
Support for microgrids (local energy networks) based on RE and BESS
