Today, thanks to more than 2,700 qualified employees, its own testing laboratories, metalworking, welding, assembly and testing workshops, JSC Ukrainian Energy Machines performs the full cycle of equipment production: research and development, design and engineering work, production, testing, installation and commissioning, technical and engineering support, repair services, and equipment modernization during operation.

The hydro turbine laboratory of Ukrainian Energy Machines JSC includes 18 stands and installations, including three large hydraulic stands for testing the energy, cavitation, and power characteristics of blade systems and other key elements of hydraulic machines.

The hydro turbine laboratory has conducted more than 90 model acceptance tests in the presence of the customer for hydro turbines for 38 HPPs, such as: Klosterfos and Vigeland Bru (Norway), Piedra del Aguila, Salto Grande (Argentina/Uruguay), Niuel IV (Argentina), Purnari I and II (Greece), Linganamaki, Theri (India), Agualmilpa, El Cajon, La Yescca (Mexico), Dnipro Cascade HPP (Ukraine), Pļaviņas HPP (Latvia), Nurek HPP (Tajikistan), etc.

Highly qualified engineers and project managers have been and remain the main guarantee of the company's success and assets. PJSC "Ukrhydroproject" has a large staff of specialists, over 90% of whom are certified engineers. Employees of the company include candidates and doctors of technical sciences, as well as an academician of the Academy of Architecture and Construction of Ukraine. The company's leading specialists have qualification certificates from the All-Ukrainian public organization “Guild of Designers in Construction” for the design of facilities, including those of responsibility class CC3.

"Ukrhydroproject" performs a range of works related to hydropower, water management, civil, industrial, and other types of construction, including:

PJSC "Ukrhydroproject"  plays an important role in scientific activities and is a corporate member of the International Hydropower Association (IHA), a member of the International Council on Large Electric Systems CIGRE in Ukraine (CIGRE), the Hydroenergy of Ukraine Association (member of ICOLD), a member and partner of the Scientific and Technical Union of Power Engineers and Electrical Engineers of Ukraine, and a member of the Ukrainian Quality Association. In 2010, with the active participation of PJSC "Ukrhydroproject", the Ukrainian Commission on Large Dams was established in Ukraine.

PJSC "Ukrhydroproject" has completed more than 60 new hydropower plant construction projects in more than 10 countries around the world, as well as projects for the reconstruction and modernization of hydroelectric facilities, water structures, and other infrastructure and energy facilities.

Among the company's most significant projects are the development of design for the reconstruction of the Dnipro cascade of hydropower plants and the construction of the Tashlyk, Dnister, and Kaniv pumped storage power plants (Ukraine), the reconstruction of the Dubossary hydropower plant (Moldova), the construction of the Mtkvari hydropower plant (Georgia), and the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam hydropower plant. As a general designer and technical coordinator, "Ukrhydroproject" carried out design work for a hydropower plant in Vietnam, a hydroelectric complex in Mexico, a pumping station in Iraq, and hydroelectric complexes in China, Laos, and Venezuela.

Founded in 2021, the company quickly established partnerships with leading manufacturers of high-voltage equipment and today is able to offer a wide range of high-voltage products, namely power transformers and autotransformers, GIS, circuit breakers, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers, surge arresters, cable and wire products, diesel generators, and other equipment.  Close business relationships with direct manufacturers allow ESG to offer its customers unique and flexible payment terms, delivery, and warranties.

The ESG team has its own design department specializing in the design of energy facilities, in particular hydropower plants and pumped storage power plants. The company's design department has more than 20 qualified specialists with an average of over 10 years of experience, which enables the company to provide services for all stages of design work, from the development of a feasibility study to a working design.

In 2010, having achieved a leading position in the European market, Mavel's management decided to establish a wholly owned subsidiary, Mavel Americas, Inc. (MAC), to oversee its activities in the Americas. By 2018, MAC had completed or signed contracts for 30 projects in North, Central, and South America. MAVEL manufactures and supplies Kaplan, Francis, Pelton, and TM Micro Siphon turbines.

The main activity of "Ukrmontazhenergo" LLC is the design and construction of "turnkey" substations with voltages ranging from 110 to 750 kV. The company's main partners and customers are leading energy companies such as NPC Ukrenergo, DTEK, and regional distribution companies Oblenergo.

Among them, "Ukrmontazhenergo" LLC performed a full range of works on the technical rehabilitation of the 330 kV SS "Sumy", the 330 kV SS "Cherkaska" with a 110 kV GIS, and the 330 kV SS "Brovarskaya" as a subcontractor for foreign general contractors within the framework of projects financed by the World Bank.

Over 25 years of operation in the energy market, the company has implemented more than 2,500 projects, including foreign deliveries to countries such as Pakistan, Kazakhstan, India, Brazil, Ecuador, and Panama.

Established in 1955 during the construction of the Kakhovka Hydropower Plant, the Dnipro Installation Management Department of SGEM was transformed into JSC “Dnipro-SGEM” in 1991 and has completed work on dozens of construction projects, hundreds of launches and commissioning of hydro units and pumping stations in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Georgia, Mexico, Vietnam, and Tajikistan.

The company actively implements the developed technology in its own equipment and has completed more than 70 contracts for the design, reconstruction, and modernization of heating networks in Ukraine over the past 10 years.

SEES provides the following services:

The company focuses on the productivity, cost-effectiveness, and environmental friendliness of the installed stations. For one of its latest projects alone, SEES achieved the following performance indicators: production of 55,000 kWh per month and a reduction in CO₂ emissions of 45 tons per year. This project was implemented in just two months, and the payback period for the client was approximately 2.5 years.

The staff of HYDROTECHPROJECT LTD - is more than 200 qualified specialists with higher specialized education. INTERDEPARTMENTAL CENTRE OF ENGINERING RESEARCHES LTD was established in 2009. The company performs engineering geological, hydrogeological, hydrological, and topographic and geodetic surveys at energy facilities (hydro and thermal power plants, substations and power transmission lines), water management (shipbuilding and water supply facilities of industrial regions), mining and metallurgical enterprises and other industrial and civil construction facilities in Ukraine and abroad.

The company has a developed material, technical and information base for performing engineering geological, hydrogeological, hydrological, topographic and geodetic surveys, as well as a certified construction laboratory for conducting various studies on soil materials.
